MA micro automation is a supplier of automation systems and special-purpose machinery for the high-throughput production of medical devices. The company develops and manufactures customer-specific and standardized assembly and testing automation, including the CENTAURI IVD (in-vitro diagnostics), CERES POC (point-of-care test kits), CORVI IM (take-out robot with AOI for medical molding) and POLARIS DDD (Drug Delivery Devices) platforms. The systems include automated optical inspection (AOI) with proprietary vision modules, SCADA/MES integration, GMP validation according to IQ/OQ/PQ, as well as retrofits of existing systems. Systems built by the company produce, among other things, lateral flow test kits, pipette tips, reaction tubes, cuvettes, well plates, insulin pumps, auto-injectors, inhalers, catheters, contact lenses and IOLs. The company can look back on more than 50 years of history and until 2002 was the in-house special-purpose machinery unit of Siemens AG. Today it employs over 220 staff at sites in St. Leon-Rot (Germany), Alpharetta, GA (USA) and Singapore, with a global production floor area of 9,900 m².

The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV SÜD for the St. Leon-Rot site, SGS for the Singapore site), in each case covering the scope of sales, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and service of micro assembly units.
