About Maître Frères
Maître Frères SA is an independent family-owned company based in Glovelier in the Swiss Jura, specialising in plastic injection moulding for over 40 years. The company designs and manufactures highly technical components made of polymers and composite materials, processing more than twenty different polymer families, including PEEK, PPS, PPSU, PVDF, TPE, PC and PMMA; all materials comply with the RoHS and REACH directives, and on request the company also develops custom materials. The entire process chain – from project study through mould making to injection and quality control – is handled in-house, complemented by turning and machining. Customers come primarily from the watch industry, microtechnology and the field of technical polymer and composite components. Energy is sourced 100 % from Swiss hydropower (OPALE certificate); the company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and employs more than twenty staff.
