About Electromag

Mabuchi Motor Electromag SA (Electromag SA), based in Ecublens near Lausanne, specializes in the development and manufacture of brushless DC motors (BLDC) for demanding applications with power ratings up to 300 W. The focus is on ultra-quiet motors with a very low vibration level at speeds of up to 100,000 rpm. The motors are characterized by high efficiency and reliability, among other things thanks to a patented winding technology. The company supports customers from concept through simulation and rapid prototyping to series production; final assembly and testing are carried out in Switzerland on automated production lines. An in-house process engineering team specifies, designs and validates the manufacturing equipment. The motors are used, among other things, in ventilators and dental and orthopedic hand instruments. Since 2021, Electromag has been part of the Mabuchi Motor Group; to date, more than 3 million motors have been sold and more than 200 configurations developed.
