Climate Expertise

MAC Hamburg GmbH was founded in 2015 as an independent company and is an integral part of the MEYER Group, today's MEYER WERFT Group. The interdisciplinary team of around 20 employees develops complex HVAC and climate systems and supports customers throughout the entire product life cycle. The focus is on energy-efficient solutions, as the air conditioning system is one of the largest consumers on board a ship. The systems provide climate control for spaces ranging from cabins, staterooms and theatres to kitchens, server rooms and laundries, all the way through to explosion-protected areas. Originally closely tied to MEYER WERFT in Papenburg and NEPTUN WERFT in Rostock, MAC is today represented at four shipyards in various countries. Customers include MEYER WERFT Papenburg and NEPTUN WERFT Rostock. In addition to project work, the company pursues its own research and development activities.
