About Mack Rides
Mack Rides is a family-owned manufacturer of amusement park attractions based in Waldkirch near Freiburg. Founded in 1780, the company develops and manufactures roller coasters (Launch, Hyper, Mega, Spinning, Family, Powered Coaster), dark rides, water rides, spin rides and flying theaters. The value chain includes in-house engineering and design, track production, handcrafted GRP (fiberglass) vehicle bodies and final vehicle assembly – a vertical integration designed to ensure precision and creative freedom. Materials are primarily steel for tracks and structures as well as GRP (fiberglass) for vehicle bodies. With installations in over 70 countries, Mack Rides supplies amusement parks in Europe, Asia, North and South America and Australia. The close connection to Europa-Park in Rust allows the rides to be tested under real conditions. Since the end of 2018, part of the track and vehicle production has been carried out at the Herbolzheim site.
