About Mackinac MicroOptics
Mackinac MicroOptics SA is a micro-optics company founded in 2014 in Neuchâtel and headquartered in Switzerland. Founder Dr. Kenneth J. Weible has been active in the field of micro-optics since 1991 and has been involved in numerous projects and commercial activities related to diffractive optical elements, refractive microlens arrays and custom micro-optical components. The company supports projects from design through prototyping to small-series production and also offers the inspection and testing of optical components. For manufacturing, Mackinac MicroOptics uses the state-of-the-art cleanroom infrastructure of the Center of MicroNanotechnology (CMi) at EPFL, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The focus is on the development and optimization of micro-optical components for the specific requirements of each project, especially for applications in photonics.
