About us
MEBRA Märkische Entsorgungsgesellschaft Brandenburg mbH is a certified waste management specialist company in accordance with §§ 56 and 57 KrWG and was founded in 1991 as a service provider for waste disposal, cleaning and waste treatment. Every year, tens of thousands of tonnes of waste are collected and further processed, and hundreds of kilometres of roads and pavements are cleaned. The range of services includes a container service with skip and roll-off containers (7 to 33 m³), the operation of the recycling yard in Brandenburg an der Havel, the acceptance of paper/cardboard/cartons, films and plastics in Prützke, a composting plant in Fohrde, commercial containers, hazardous waste mobile service, waste glass disposal as well as street cleaning and winter services. On behalf of the municipality of the City of Brandenburg an der Havel, around 1,000 km of streets, 850 litter bins and 200 stops are cleaned every month. Quality management is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001; shareholders are the City of Brandenburg an der Havel and the REMONDIS Group. The company headquarters with recycling yard and plant/transhipment point is located at August-Sonntag-Straße 3, 14770 Brandenburg an der Havel.
