About MAFAC

MAFAC - E. Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, based in Alpirsbach (Baden-Württemberg), is a manufacturer of cleaning systems for solvent-free, water-based industrial parts cleaning. The family-owned company, founded in 1968, developed its first water-based cleaning systems in 1974 and in 1992 presented the world's first compact machine with an integrated spray-flood system. The portfolio includes patented technologies such as MAFAC Kinematics and Vector Kinematics (rotation of the spray system and the cleaning goods), the pressure fluctuation process MAFAC Vacuum Activated Purification (VAP), rotating ultrasound, and two- and three-bath concepts with drying methods based on hot air, pulse blowing or vacuum. For the semiconductor and optics industries, MAFAC offers high-purity cleaning with ultrapure water (UPW), HEPA-filtered XCDA process air and laminar flow boxes. In addition to system manufacturing, MAFAC offers contract cleaning, system rental, used machines with CE conformity, and the development of verifiable, MDR-compliant cleaning processes with audit-proof process documentation. Sales and distribution partners exist in 23 countries, complemented by a branch office in France.
