About mafo Engineering
mafo Engineering GmbH, based in Herisau, is a Swiss engineering office for design, plant engineering and machine service. On the basis of on-site measurement surveys or 3D scans, the company develops designs, creates R&I diagrams / P&ID flow diagrams and takes on project management in control system and plant engineering. Further services include special and sheet-metal constructions – from small sensor brackets to pipe bends with a diameter of 1800 mm –, 3D printing, commissioning of plant components and complete systems, industrial assembly, machine overhauls and machine retrofitting. For spare parts that are no longer available, the team produces replicas or modifies machines so that commercially available parts can be used. Customers include companies from plant engineering, mechanical engineering and production; the services are provided in Switzerland.
