About MAFU-SHERPA
MAFU-SHERPA CNC Automation develops and manufactures camera-controlled loading robots for turning and milling machines. The SherpaLoader® system detects workpieces such as round bar, hexagonal and plate blanks as well as cast and forged moldings using the SherpaVision® 4 3D camera system with integrated AI – even on reflective or low-contrast surfaces and under uncontrolled ambient light. The range comprises twelve models with load capacities of 7 to 225 kg, which handle machined workpieces up to 1,000 mm in length and 225 kg in weight. The robot cells load and unload machine tools, serve as retrofit solutions for existing machines and offer extension modules for turning, pre-stamping and cleaning. Operation is via a dialog control with a 17" touch display without programming knowledge, and changeover times are under five minutes. The target group is medium-sized manufacturing companies in CNC machining, including medical technology manufacturers, with lot sizes of 5 to 5,000 parts. Manufacturing and sales are based in Germany.
