About Magazino

Magazino GmbH develops and builds intelligent, mobile robots that automate intralogistics processes. The robots perceive their environment, make their own decisions, and grasp or move cartons, containers, or pallets. The portfolio includes the autonomous tugger train robot SOTO, which transports up to 24 small load carriers (KLT) simultaneously, as well as the picking robot TORU, which picks cartons and standardized containers from shelving racks – both in 24/7 operation. As the robotics development unit of Jungheinrich, the company combines hardware and software components into AGV and AMR solutions for production logistics, order picking, and fulfillment. Magazino was founded in 2014 as a robotics startup in Munich and employs over 160 people there from 35 countries. Since 2023, the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Jungheinrich AG; known projects include pilot applications with MAN (engine production Nuremberg) and Zalando (logistics center Lahr).
