About Magna Powertrain
Magna Powertrain is a business unit of Magna International and a long-standing supplier to the global automotive industry with competencies in the design, development, testing and manufacturing of powertrains for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The portfolio includes BEV and hybrid drivetrain system products as well as modules and components. In the area of body structures, Magna manufactures body-in-white assemblies such as frame profiles, floor pans, body pillars and side structures from high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels as well as aluminium. Further manufacturing processes include hot stamping, cold forming, super-plastic forming of aluminium alloys, thin-wall aluminium casting and SMC production for composite battery covers. The offering is complemented by battery housing solutions, software development, remanufacturing and material recovery. The headquarters are located in Troy, Michigan (USA). 100 % renewable electricity is used at all EMAS sites.
