About Magtrol
Magtrol develops and manufactures systems for load, force and weight measurement as well as test benches for motors and electric drives. The product portfolio includes load measuring pins made of high-strength stainless steel, cable sensors, load cells, torque sensors, hysteresis and eddy-current brakes, and custom motor test systems (CMTS) with the in-house M-Test software. The LB and LE series load pins are manufactured in Switzerland and are based on full-bridge strain gauge technology with FEM-optimized sensor positioning; redundant versions with two full bridges are available. Applications are found in crane and lifting equipment technology, elevators, ropeways and ski lifts, offshore, marine and port environments, as well as in the testing of surgical and dental instruments up to 350 000 rpm and e-mobility devices. Magtrol also offers repair and calibration services including a Torque Calibration Laboratory.
