About MAIER
Maier Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH has been active in special-purpose machine engineering since 1990 and develops, designs and manufactures demanding special-purpose machines and automation solutions for use in the series production of customers from the automotive industry and mechanical engineering. The portfolio includes assembly and joining systems, rotary and linear indexing systems, measuring and testing systems, forming systems, transport and conveyor systems, ergonomic manual workstations, jig and fixture construction and vision-based part feeding. The applications are manufactured in-house, including installation of mechanics, electrics and pneumatics by an experienced team. In addition to mechanical and electrical design in 2D/3D (Inventor), the service spectrum includes project engineering, procurement, programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, C++), acceptance testing against agreed performance data and remote maintenance. The company additionally offers process design, prototype construction, retrofit of existing systems, as well as service and maintenance. Since 2019 MAIER has operated from its new and larger site in Bissingen/Teck; the administration is based in Markgröningen.
