Family company for rollers and precision parts

Maier Walzen GmbH is a medium-sized family company in Waldkraiburg that has been manufacturing rubber rollers, ready-to-install system rollers as well as turned and milled parts since 1997. Production spans three areas: In core production, roller cores and plain turned parts are manufactured from steel, stainless steel and aluminium using sawing, CNC machining (turning, milling, drilling, grooving, knurling), welding and bonding; roller cores up to 2500 mm in length and 250 mm in diameter are possible. In rubber coating, rollers and rubber sleeves are fully coated in the company's own production facilities. Complete manufacturing delivers ready-to-install system rollers such as pressure and tension rollers, deflector rollers, conveyor rollers, laminating rollers or contact rollers. In addition, surface coatings (including anodizing, galvanizing, hard chrome plating) as well as roller repairs, such as journal repairs by build-up welding, are offered. Customers include industries such as mechanical engineering, the printing industry, film production and finishing, the wood and furniture industry, the textile and food industries, conveyor technology and automation technology. With around 40 to 42 employees at one site, the company covers all process steps in-house.
