About MAISTRO – Naturally good since 1985

Maistro Handels GmbH is a family business founded in 1985 by the Carinthian award-winning chef Armin Strohschein, headquartered in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. The company produces dry products such as clear soups, bouillons, salad dressings, roast sauces, soup garnishes and seasoning blends from purely natural ingredients. Processing is gentle, using freeze-drying, which preserves flavour and nutrients. Many products are vegan, allergen-free, lactose-free and free of palm oil, flavour enhancers and gluten. Distribution is via wholesalers, food retail, gastronomy and hotels, and since 2020 in the B2B sector to offices, industrial companies and via snack vending machines; orders, delivery notes and invoices are processed via EDI. Since 2017, Marion Petschenig and Michael Strohschein have led the company in the second generation.
