Since 1987, MAKIDATA has been a partner for products, solutions and services relating to the plastic card. Its core competence lies in the sales and service of industrial personalization and mailing systems for plastic cards, complemented by card printers, retransfer printers, laser systems as well as plastic and chip cards plus accessories. In addition, the company offers robust marking and embossing systems for permanent marking of metal tags, metal signs and identification tags (dog tags) – from manual embossing systems to fully automatic industrial equipment, including 2D barcode embossing in accordance with EN 1090-1. In its own service bureau in Willich, plastic cards are personalized (thermal transfer, retransfer, embossing, magnetic stripe, chip encoding) and card mailings are processed with postal-optimized shipping; daily capacity is around 50,000 cards or mailings, more than 10,000 card mailings per day. Sales and service are offered throughout Europe. Customers come from banks, authorities, card manufacturers, logistics and industry; MAKIDATA is the exclusive German partner of Matica Technologies and the exclusive partner of American Express for Imprinter devices.
