About Makkon

Makkon GmbH, based in Matrei in Osttirol (Austria), has been active in special machinery construction and automation technology since 2001. The company, with more than 25 employees, develops and manufactures special machinery, automation systems, hardness testing systems, tool change systems, conveying technology, vacuum manipulators, and fixtures for the steel, wood, forging, and general manufacturing industries. The entire value chain – CAD design, mechanical manufacturing in the company's own CNC and conventional machine shop, welded assemblies, control technology, electrical engineering and control cabinet construction – is handled in-house; final assembly and acceptance testing take place at the customer's site. In addition to plant engineering, Makkon offers CNC turned and milled parts as contract manufacturing to drawing in single parts and small series made of steel, stainless steel (Nirosta), aluminium, and plastics. The company's systems are in operation, among other places, in China, Russia, the USA, and Europe. Annual revenue was most recently around 3.5 million euros.
