Makron is a Finnish industrial company that develops and manufactures machines, plants and automation solutions for demanding production environments. The product range includes mechanical engineering and design, digitalization and automation, industrial machine manufacturing as well as machine solutions and modernizations. Manufactured products include, among others, ASME-certified pressure vessels, conveyor systems for boxes and parcels, and complete production lines, for example for the wood-based materials and plywood industry. Another focus is the modernization of existing plants, including high-bay warehouses with stacker cranes (SRM) and conveyor technology. Customers come from industries such as paper and pulp machinery, intralogistics, energy and power plant systems, mining machinery, waste and water treatment, and hospital sterilization supply. The company has worked with, among others, ANDRITZ, Hartwall, BE Group, Normet and Dieffenbacher and celebrated its 50th anniversary.
