Family business since 1889
The maleco Farbwerk GmbH is a Hamburg company led by the Leonhart family since 1889, which produces paints, lacquers, wood glazes, fillers, plasters and floor coatings in its own production facility in Hamburg. The products are based on in-house formulations from the company's own research and development department, which tests raw materials and develops new systems such as water-based lacquers, 2K epoxy resin and polyurea floor coatings as well as anti-graffiti systems. Together with Airbus, patented applications were created, such as a spray gun for paint application in Ex areas, a flow-through brush head system and a special application roller for filler compounds. The range comprises more than 5,000 stock items, which are delivered via direct sales from seven locations in northern Germany to the painting trade, construction and industry, including paint application for aviation supply.
