About Mallard Creek Polymers
Mallard Creek Polymers (MCP) is a US-based manufacturer of water-based emulsion polymers headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 1962, the company has produced synthetic emulsion polymers at its Charlotte site and offers latex products based on emulsion polymerization using styrene-butadiene (SBR), styrene-acrylic, pure acrylic, vinyl acetate and nitrile elastomers. The product range includes the brands Rovene®, Tylac®, BarrierPro®, Tykote®, Tychem®, Ecronova® and Ecrovin®, which serve as general-purpose brands across different chemistries for the respective applications. MCP develops custom formulations and offers free product samples, technical support from specialist chemists, and flexible manufacturing from small custom batches to large-scale production runs. Customers come from industries such as adhesives, construction, paints & coatings, paper, printing & packaging, nonwovens and textiles, as well as oil and gas applications. MCP holds REACH registrations for styrene and butadiene monomers to enable the import and supply of styrene-butadiene emulsion polymers in the EU. Through its subsidiary MCP Europe GmbH in Bönen, Germany, the company supports European markets with regional sales, customer service and application-technical support. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
