About Mandl Elektronik / HCS Regeltechnik
Mandl Elektronik / HCS Regeltechnik was founded in 1998 by Bernd Mandl and is a sole proprietorship specialising in heating and building control technology, based in Tengling in the Chiemgau region. The company develops, manufactures and programs its own control systems for solar thermal, alternative energies and complete building technology – from the room thermostat (B-Module) and the Home-Panel PC with 15" touchscreen to control cabinet construction for heating and ventilation centres. The electronics manufacturing includes in-house circuit design, in-house PCB assembly and an in-house test laboratory; PCB manufacturing as well as metal and plastic components are outsourced to regional or German specialist companies, while assembly takes place in the company's own facilities. In addition, HCS offers its own software development, customer-specific programming, remote maintenance via the internet and SMS/GSM module, and service through service partner companies. Reference installations can be found, among others, at the Watzmannhaus, the Berchtesgaden climbing hall, schools, municipal buildings, hotels, biogas plants and district heating networks.

History
- 1998
Bernd Mandl founded Mandl Elektronik / HCS Regeltechnik with the idea of a control system specifically for solar and alternative energies in order to save fossil fuels.
- 2008
After about ten years, they presented their own development, the Home-Panel PC, with which the Heating Control System was extended into a House Control System; previously around 15–16 years of heating control system production.
