Mechanical engineering and machining in Upper Swabia
Manfred Martin GmbH is a mechanical engineering and contract manufacturing company based in Rot an der Rot (Mettenberg district) in Upper Swabia. On a production area of around 3500 m², individual parts, prototypes as well as small and medium series are manufactured predominantly by CNC and conventional machining: turning, milling on vertical and horizontal machining centres, and boring mill work in machining dimensions up to 2000 mm in length. The machinable range of materials extends from general structural steels, heat-treatable and fine-grained structural steels through aluminium alloys and stainless steels to cast materials, special steels, brass and plastics. Mechanical production is complemented by steel construction and welding work (MIG, MAG, TIG), special-purpose machinery, automation through the subsidiary E.A.C. GmbH, as well as assembly, commissioning and service at home and abroad. Customers include around 250 companies from the construction machinery industry, the automotive sector, plant engineering, plastics and wood processing, special-purpose machinery and safety technology; the first customer in 1958 was Liebherr in Kirchdorf.
