Specialist for maintenance-free slide bearing solutions
MANGACHOC Slide-Bearing Systems GmbH, based in Saarbrücken, develops and manufactures highly wear-resistant, maintenance-free slide bearing systems for extreme industrial operating conditions. The product portfolio includes seamless MANGACHOC slide bearings and bushings, steel/steel spherical plain bearings without PTFE, HT roller systems, linear slide bearings for unlimited strokes, and axles specially manufactured for this purpose. The components are made of a carbon-rich, austenitic and non-magnetic steel whose running surface work-hardens under dynamic stress to up to 600 HV; an AF coating improves running-in conditions and protects against corrosion. The systems operate without lubrication or cooling in a temperature range from -100 °C to +380 °C. MANGACHOC analyses wear problems, develops customised engineering concepts and delivers drop-in replacement solutions that can be installed without modification of existing installations. Typical applications are found in steel mills, rolling mills, smelters, coking plants, waste incineration plants, cement and lime works, power stations, mining, ore processing, seaports, and transport and conveying technology, including among others continuous casting rollers, grate rollers, ladle trunnions, grabbers and container cranes.

Materials and technology
MANGACHOC steel (carbon-rich, austenitic, non-magnetic)
Material of the slide bearings whose running surface self-hardens under dynamic stress and enables maintenance-free operation.
AF sliding coating
Coating with high pressure capacity that improves running-in conditions, avoids stick-slip and protects against fretting corrosion.
Steel/steel spherical plain bearing pairing
Pairing of an austenitic steel ring and a hard friction partner without PTFE insert for extreme operating conditions.
Quenched and tempered steels
Material for MANGACHOC axles.
Case-hardening steels
Material for MANGACHOC axles.
RS steels
Material for MANGACHOC axles.
