About Bitter & Friends

The Manufaktur Greiff GmbH trades on the market as Bitter & Friends and produces bitter-substance products purely by hand. The product range includes bitters drops (Bitter Elixir, Women's Power Elixir, Men's Strength Elixir), bitter spray, herbal teas, bitter herb liqueurs (Amavit, Summervit), Swedish bitters and premium dark chocolate. Production follows the proprietary recipes of pharmacists Marie and Michael Greiff: the raw materials are select herbs and medicinal plants, largely from certified organic cultivation, which are processed into alcoholic extracts (tinctures) and matured for several weeks in a blend of alcohol and self-distilled water. The product ideas as well as the drops, teas, sprays and liqueurs are created in the two Miraculix workshops in Rotthalmünster (Bavaria) and Wels (Austria); administration is located in Buchkirchen (Upper Austria). Alongside production, the owners further develop recipes and hold seminars and lectures for physicians, alternative practitioners and therapists in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Products are sold via the company's own online shop with shipping to Germany and Austria.
