About Manufaktur Jörg Geiger
Manufaktur Jörg Geiger GmbH, based in Schlat (Baden-Württemberg), processes Swabian orchard fruit from old apple and pear varieties into distillates, sparkling wines, dessert wines, craft ciders, perrys and non-alcoholic PriSeccos. In cooperation with more than 370 farmers, the manufactory collects 80 different fruit varieties from a radius of 100 kilometers and pays above-market prices for them in order to support the sustainable maintenance of traditional orchard meadows. In addition to Champagner Bratbirne and Prevorster Bratbirne, herbs such as wormwood, juniper, woodruff, meadowsweet and yarrow are used; all products are made without chemical additives such as colorings, flavor enhancers or stabilizers. The value creation from raw material processing through beverage composition to bottling takes place in the company's own manufactory; distillation is traditionally carried out at the 'Lamm' inn in Schlat. The offering also includes tastings, guided tours, events, a sales room and an online shop with shipping. Distribution partners exist in Switzerland and the Netherlands.
