About MAP SPACE COATINGS
MAP SPACE COATINGS is a coating service provider specialised in space applications, based in Mazères near Toulouse in the south of France. The company develops and manufactures its own coatings and raw materials – semiconducting metal oxides and silicone polymers – and additionally offers a dedicated thermal finishing service for satellite components. The portfolio comprises thermal control coatings for satellites, adhesives, silicone conformal coatings for satellite electronics, lubricants for satellite mechanisms as well as antistatic, corrosion-protective and thermally protective coatings for launch vehicles. In addition, the company carries out physico-chemical characterisation. The coatings have over 30 years of flight experience on satellites and launch vehicles. MAP SPACE COATINGS is one of 20 SMEs in the space industry with which CNES maintains a winning partnership within the framework of the SME Pact, and operates according to ISO 9001/EN 9100.
