About MAPEKO
MAPEKO Feuer GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1973 in Neuwied and develops, constructs, and manufactures industrial firing systems for steel mills and foundries. The product portfolio includes pan fires, distribution trough and torpedo preheating and drying fires, converter fires, blast furnace trough fires, lances, scrap dryers, and systems for thermal post-combustion (DETOX technology). The systems are individually designed for the respective task and equipped with proprietary burner technology; available burners include Gas/Air, Oxygen, Flameless, and Hydrogen burners, as well as combination burners for various heating media such as natural gas, LPG, coke oven gas, CO gas, hydrogen, and mixed gas. Additionally, the company offers recuperator technology for heat recovery with MAREKU and a drying system with the FOEHN® system. Each system is completely assembled, wired, and tested (Plug & Play) before delivery; site assembly and commissioning follow. Worldwide, over 1600 MAPEKO systems are in operation in 64 countries; the company is a member of INTOCAST AG (INTOCAST Group of Experts).
