Since 1957, Marantec has been developing and producing door drive technology and accessories at its headquarters in East Westphalia (Marienfeld), North Rhine-Westphalia. The family-owned company manufactures drive systems for garage doors, sectional doors, roller shutters, swing gates, sliding gates, high-speed doors (including for high-speed fabric doors) as well as fire door operators for fire protection doors. The portfolio is complemented by hand transmitters and control units, the bi·linked wireless code keypad, the maveo smart garage system with connect stick and app, as well as barrier and parking systems including parking barriers and access management (DM7S). The products are developed by engineers with many years of experience in drive technology and produced in the company's own plants; distribution is via a network of specialist dealers who also offer installation and service. In addition to standard products, the company offers special solutions such as operators for facade elements or swimming pool covers and ATEX applications. In the Circular Drives research project jointly with Hörmann, old operators are collected for recycling purposes. Distribution is worldwide.
