About Marconi

Marconi is a brand of ZECmediatec SL and develops and manufactures large-scale real-time multimedia systems that control thousands of interactive displays simultaneously. The product portfolio includes fully customised seatback displays for electronic libretti, supertitles and surtitles as well as VIP and sky box displays for stadiums. According to the company, the systems are characterised by low infrastructure and energy costs, robust communication protocols, and remote monitoring and control of the overall network and individual displays. Aesthetics and functionality are customised individually per customer. Reference projects exist, among others, at the Hungarian State Opera Budapest (1,100 units), in the Portuguese Parliament (261 devices), at the Oslo Operahus (installation 2007) and in Klaipėda, Lithuania. According to the website, the know-how is based on 16 opera house projects with 15,640 installed displays and 129 integration variants. The technology is patented internationally and has been honoured with the Cisco Innovation Award as well as three InAvate Awards.
