About MARK
MARK Metallwarenfabrik GmbH is an Austrian family-owned company based in Spital am Pyhrn (Upper Austria), founded in 1920 and specialized in deep drawing as its core competence. Using chipless tensile-compressive forming, hollow parts with diameters from 2 to 80 mm, material thicknesses from 0.1 to 2.5 mm and lengths up to 150 mm are produced from steel, stainless steel (1.4548), aluminium, brass and copper – finished on transfer and progressive die presses. The range of services includes in-house research and development, toolmaking with more than 100 toolmaking technicians, stamping/bending, overmolding of insert parts, finish turning of the inner contour (RZ 6.3), coating and fully automated assembly. Every part is 100 % inspected by eddy current and optical camera systems before shipping; through its subsidiary MARK-P4, inspection systems for industrial series production are developed. The main customers are the automotive industry (transmissions, ABS/ESP, airbags, injection systems, automotive lamps, hose couplings) as well as medical technology, electrical engineering, household appliances, construction, cosmetics and furniture industries. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 and, in addition to its main plant, operates sites in Ptuj (Slovenia) and a joint venture in Nantong (China).
