MARKTSPIEGEL WERKZEUGBAU is a registered cooperative and is organised as a benchmarking initiative 'from the industry, for the industry'. Its offering is aimed at tool, pattern and mould makers, series part manufacturers, injection moulding processors and companies in stamping and forming technology in the German-speaking region. Core services include anonymised company benchmarks with individual reports and recommendations for action, supervised by independent auditors covering business metrics, production/processes, and marketing and sales. Since 2024, the Marktspiegel Business Intelligence (MBI) has been available as a cloud-based platform for real-time analysis of key performance indicators, industry comparisons and a business climate index. Data collection is carried out via an independent data trustee using anonymous IDs and a SaaS solution with two-factor authentication. The cooperative has 72 members and also offers them purchasing benefits with sponsors and cooperation partners.
