About MARKUS T
Markus Temming GmbH (MARKUS T) designs and produces lightweight, durable eyewear frames in a manufactory in Isselhorst near Gütersloh, housed in a renovated grain distillery. Every frame is 100 % handmade; on average, 20 work steps by different hands go into each product. The frames are made from titanium and the in-house developed, patented lightweight polymer TMi, which is resistant, dimensionally stable, recyclable and hypoallergenic; the titanium alloy used is also employed in medical technology. The processes include patented in-house colouring processes (Multiple-Step-Colouring for titanium, polyamide colouring process for TMi), a patented low-stress glazing technique through the centre, and screwless hinges with nylon thread. The products are distributed via opticians and sales partners worldwide and have been awarded more than 40 times since 1999 for design and technology. Sales markets include, alongside the DACH region, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain as well as markets in Asia, Australia and South America.

Hypoallergenic lightweight material; the alloy used is also employed in medical technology and enables ultra-flat, narrow frames.
TMi (patented lightweight polymer)
In-house patented polymer that is resistant, dimensionally stable, recyclable, hypoallergenic and extremely lightweight.
Polyamide
Material basis of the in-house polyamide colouring process for TMi frames.
