MARKUTEC Germany GmbH, based in Wertheim (Baden-Württemberg), is a manufacturer of vacuum jugs and vacuum bottles. The MARKUTEC brand has been established since 1990; the range includes over 30 models with screw caps, pump caps, and vacuum bottles with cup in sizes from 0.25 to 2.0 litres. The plastic parts made of polypropylene (PP) or ABS are predominantly injection-moulded in Germany, with final assembly carried out entirely in Wertheim. Inside every product is a double-walled, evacuated and silvered borosilicate glass insert that provides the heat retention performance (12 hours hot, 24 hours cold). More than 80% of production is exported, with a focus on the Middle East; customers come from the hotel industry, elderly care, hospitals, canteens and wholesale. The company is certified to ISO 9001.
