About Artis / MARPOSS Monitoring Solutions
MARPOSS Monitoring Solutions GmbH distributes and develops the Artis brand, a leading company in the field of tool and process monitoring for metal cutting. The systems analyze, safeguard and optimize production processes on lathes, machining centers, grinding machines and transfer lines. The portfolio includes tool breakage and wear monitoring, collision protection with response times under 1 ms, machine monitoring (vibration, temperature, early detection of bearing damage), tool holder runout detection, energy data management (C-ENERGY) and the C-THRU 4.0 smart factory software suite. Artis develops and produces its own strain gauge and piezoelectric sensors. Over 30,000 systems are in operation, with around 1,200 new systems installed annually, primarily in the automotive and aerospace industries. Since 2008, Artis has belonged to the Marposs Group and is marketed through its worldwide sales and service network in 80 countries with more than 3,500 employees. The German location is Egestorf (Lower Saxony), where the Marposs Academy also offers training for Artis products.
