The Company
Martin Baumer CNC-Drehteile e.K. is an owner-managed contract manufacturer of CNC turned parts based in Steinmauern, Baden-Württemberg. The company manufactures complex single parts as well as small and large series with diameters from 10 mm to 320 mm and turning lengths up to 900 mm, both as bar and chuck part machining. In addition, the turning shop offers assembly of assemblies and complete solutions, sandblasting for surface cleaning, and part marking by needle embossing. The modern machine park includes, among others, 10-axis lathes with sub-spindle, turn-mill centers with driven tools, and automatic bar feeding. Quality assurance is carried out with a Zeiss measuring machine by mechanical probing with accompanying documentation; the company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Founded in 1960 by Adam Baumer in a garage, the business is today run in its third generation by Steffen Baumer.
