About Megx

Martin Heuwold, known under the artist name Megx, is a graffiti and street art artist based in Wuppertal. He designs large surfaces in public and industrial environments, including facades, bridges, high-bay warehouses and silos. In addition to artistic execution, he offers consulting and individually developed design concepts. He became particularly well known for the design of the Lego Bridge over Schwesterstraße in Wuppertal, which was awarded the German Facade Prize in 2012. His studio is located on Scheffelstraße in Wuppertal; projects have been implemented, among others, in Dormagen, Brunsbüttel and Cologne as well as internationally. After an initial phase in the illegal spray-paint scene, he has worked exclusively on legal projects since 1993.
