About STAUD Möbel

Martin Staud GmbH Möbelwerk in Bad Saulgau manufactures cabinet systems, sliding-door wardrobes, hinged-door wardrobes as well as bed and occasional furniture programmes for the home. In 2025 the company returned to owner-managed independence and can look back on a craft tradition dating back to the year 1653. Production takes place industrially at the Bad Saulgau site, where a new production hall for bedroom furniture was built in 2018. Materials used include chipboard and HDF, glass and mirrors, metals for fittings and guide rails, plastics, paper-based laminating foils and faux leather; the majority of the wood and wood-based materials come from FSC- and PEFC-certified sustainable forest management. Design, assembly and quality inspection take place entirely in Germany, for which the company carries the RAL origin seal Made in Germany of the DGM and is distinguished as a climate-neutral furniture manufacturer. Sales are handled via the furniture trade using the furnplan planning software; retailers in more than 20 European countries are supplied.
