Martin Unterreitmaier GmbH is a tool service provider founded in 1986 with locations in Hamburg and Munich, operating under the ToolService brand. The 8-person team maintains, repairs and tests press machines, pressing tools, press jaws, press jaws (press tongs) and pipe working tools such as thread cutters and pipe cutters – manufacturer-independent for brands such as REMS, RIDGID, Viega, Novopress, Geberit, Rothenberger, Klauke, Roller, Conel, ELPress, Bosch, Makita and Milwaukee. REMS regards the company as the first external authorized customer service workshop in Germany. The services include nationwide on-site service with mobile test benches for press jaws and press jaws, an insured pickup service for devices up to 30 kg, DGUV V3 tests, rental of pressing tools, sales of new and used tools as well as fleet management and reminder service. Around 200 maintenance jobs are carried out per month; the customer network comprises approximately 16,000 customers from the plumbing and heating trade, pipe working and specialized wholesale.

Quality and Testing
Every repair goes through a multi-stage testing process with test report and test badge; maintenance is carried out according to manufacturer specifications including annual DGUV V3 testing and is documented seamlessly. In the mobile on-site service, press jaws are tested by visual, functional, electrical and pressure testing on the test bench in the service vehicle.
