From mill builder to full-service metal service provider
The family-owned company Maschinen- und Apparatebau Riekemann, founded in 1978 in Nienburg, is a specialist metalworking company with core areas of laser cutting, sheet metal processing, welded assemblies, steel construction as well as machine and apparatus engineering. A focus is placed on the manufacture of bulk material conveying technology such as conveyor belts, screw conveyors, elevators, trough chain conveyors and hoppers, often as individually designed custom systems including CAD planning. The company also manufactures machine substructures, platforms and railings, truck bed substructures, ramps and transport boxes for vehicle construction, as well as spare and wear parts. The entire process chain from laser cutting and bending to welding and straightening through to surface coating (painting, powder coating, galvanizing, pickling) and assembly is carried out in-house; delivery is handled by the company's own vehicle fleet. Materials processed include steel up to S700, stainless steel 1.4301/1.4571, aluminium, brass, copper, Corten steel and Hardox 500. Customers come from bulk material technology, milling and grain processing, rail vehicle construction, steel construction, recycling and mechanical engineering. The production hall in Nienburg is equipped with a 10-t overhead crane and its own paint shop.
