About us
Maschinenbau Knecht is a medium-sized, owner-managed company with over 35 years of experience in machine engineering for shipping cartons. The company develops, designs, programs, manufactures and assembles packaging machines for erecting, filling and closing of shipping cartons entirely at its site in Weisel. The product portfolio includes carton erectors, tray erectors, carton sealers, lid machines, packers as well as special-purpose machines for carton and product handling. The machines feature a modular design and can be adapted to different products, carton formats and output ranges. Bottom sealing is performed with hot glue, self-adhesive tape or water-activated tape. In addition to manufacturing, Knecht supports customers throughout the entire project – from layout planning and design through FAT and commissioning to training and after-sales maintenance.

Quality
Every machine is produced and commissioned in-house; acceptance takes place jointly with the customer as part of the FAT at the Weisel site. After installation at the customer's plant, Knecht supports production and services the machines at regular intervals through its own after-sales department.
