About us

Maschinenbau/mech. Fertigung Uwe Durdel is an owner-managed sole proprietorship founded in 1957 in Heidenau near Dresden. The six-person team manufactures to drawing: single parts and small series by CNC turning and CNC milling (optimal 1–200 mm diameter, single parts up to 350 mm), series from 400 pieces up to 52 mm diameter on cam-controlled automatic lathes, as well as micro-milled parts with bores from 0.1 mm and a positioning accuracy of 2 µm. In addition, the company offers special machine engineering – with a focus on test fixtures and testing machines for technical textiles – fixture construction, hard and soft soldering, stamping and bending, as well as cooperation services for surface and heat treatment. Materials machined include brass, copper, stainless steel, aluminium, steel, tungsten steels, graphite, ceramics and plastics. Customers come from the electrical industry, metrology and research, including Ritz Instrument Transformers and Fraunhofer Institutes.
