About us

Maschinenbau Schneider & Funk GmbH has been building special machinery and individual parts for special machinery and fixture construction to customer drawings since 1991. The service portfolio includes mechanical machining using sawing, shaping, milling (3- and 5-axis CNC), horizontal drilling, turning, surface and cylindrical grinding as well as welding (MAG/MIG/WIG) and annealing. Through regional cooperation partners, it also coordinates wire and sinker EDM, CNC sheet metal working, heat treatments such as plasma and gas nitriding, and surface processes such as anodising, hard anodising, DLC coating and painting. Customers come from special machinery construction, fixture construction and machine tool manufacturing. The company employs 16 staff at its site in Limbach-Oberfrohna in Saxony and provides apprenticeships in cooperation with BWC Chemnitz. Since 2007 the company has operated a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001, migrated to the 2015 edition in 2016.
