About KEMPER
Maschinenfabrik KEMPER GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Stadtlohn (Westphalia), has been developing and manufacturing harvesting attachments for self-propelled forage harvesters since 1985. The portfolio includes the row-independent cutting headers of the 300 pro small-drum series (345 pro to 390 pro, working widths from 4.5 to 9.0 m) and the 400 pro large-drum series (445 to 490 pro), the 460 pro StalkBuster for stubble crushing against the European corn borer, pickups for Claas and New Holland forage harvesters as well as the ProfiCracker™ with roller diameters of approx. 200 to 280 mm. In addition, replacement rollers for third-party products are offered. The design relies on wear-resistant materials such as Hardox wear steel for feed intake and cross-conveyor drums as well as heat-treated, hardened chrome-plated cracker rollers that are dynamically balanced. The products are compatible with forage harvesters from leading manufacturers such as John Deere, Claas, Krone, Fendt and New Holland and are in use worldwide, including for maize, whole-crop silage, sorghum, industrial hemp and miscanthus. Sales are handled through a worldwide dealer network; brochures are available in 15 languages.

Materials & Processes
Hardox wear steel
For feed intake drums, cross-conveyor drums and slide runners of the cutting headers; increases service life in highly abrasive applications.
Structural steel
Base material for frames, crop flow components and the patented augers of the pickups.
Hardened, chrome-plated cracker rollers
Special heat treatment and hard chrome plating for high wear resistance of the ProfiCracker™ rollers.
Rubber/rubber damping
Rubber buffers between frame and axle in the ComfortRide transport chassis for damping of road unevenness.
