Matthias Mühlenkord GmbH in Verl (Gütersloh district) is a long-established joinery that has been in existence for more than 150 years. The company manufactures windows in wood and wood-aluminium (Holzmetall), entrance doors, interior doors as well as smoke and fire protection, escape route and burglar-resistant doors. In addition, the business realizes post-and-beam facades, exterior sun protection and custom-made interior fittings, including solutions for heritage building conservation. Production is carried out in compliance with CE with in-house production control (WPK) and using a CNC machining centre; wood species, density, moisture content as well as the fit of fittings and gaskets are tested. The range of services includes planning, consulting, manufacturing and installation from a single source for new construction, modernization, renovation and heritage conservation. In 2024 the company was named “Window Installer of the Year”.
