About Matthiessen Lagertechnik
Matthiessen Lagertechnik is an independent, family-owned company within the Butzkies Stahlbau group and has been developing and producing machines for recycling and recyclable material processing for over 30 years. Machines such as bag splitters (BagRex), oversize separators, bale breakers with integrated wire removal as well as dosing bunkers with adapted dosing drums are manufactured in northern Germany. The machines feature a modular design and adapt flexibly to various types of recyclable materials and on-site operating conditions. They are used in sorting and processing plants; over 650 reference projects in more than 50 countries on all continents attest to their performance. The scope of services includes installation, maintenance and servicing of the plants by experienced specialist personnel. As part of the Butzkies Group, the company draws on an extensive partner network and delivers quickly and in a solution-oriented manner.

Bag splitter
Opens recyclable material bags of various sizes and empties them almost completely, without shredding.
Oversize separator
Removes oversize items and films at the start of the processing stage and prevents clogged screen decks.
Bale breaker with wire removal
Breaks up recyclable material bales and, through integrated wire removal, increases workplace safety.
Dosing bunker
Ensures, with adapted dosing drums, a uniform feed for optimal process flows.
