mattWerk Fahrzeugfolierung is a company founded in 2012 in Niddatal (Ilbenstadt) with seven employees, specializing in paint protection film (PPF) as well as paint refinement and detailing. Every vehicle is prepared before the film is applied; paint correction including removal of swirl marks, holograms and sanding marks typically requires 10 to 15 hours of work. The company does not use standard templates, but a film application method called CustomMade, in which corners, edges and component contours are mapped out, and free-hanging film edges and relief cuts are avoided wherever technically possible. The paint protection film used is highly transparent, scratch-resistant and resistant to UV radiation as well as weathering and environmental influences. Customers are vehicle owners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and international markets, including owners of daily drivers, track tools, collector's items, classics and super sports cars. Car wrapping, partial wraps, designs, advertising lettering and window tinting are deliberately not offered.
