Mauel Industrie-Service (MIS) is a technical trader and service provider in the field of occupational safety, based in Heimbach-Vlatten in the Eifel region. Founded in 2004, the medium-sized company serves around 600 customers in the paper industry, the food sector, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in energy and metal processing. The range of services extends from project consulting and risk assessment to inspections according to DGUV and BetrSichV as well as authorized overhauls (Miller, Ikar) to repair, replacement, installation and calibration of gas detection technology. As a sales and service partner of Honeywell Analytics, MIS supplies gas detection devices, fall protection, ladder and climbing technology, lifting equipment, racking systems and general industrial supplies. With the Hannibal rescue stretcher (3.5 kg, plastic), developed in-house and offered since 2022, the company adds its own product to its range. Each year, MIS carries out more than 400 inspections under the Industrial Safety Ordinance and around 1,000 consultations; the main operating area is the Cologne–Bonn–Aachen region, and the team also works throughout Germany.
