maurer electronic gmbh is an owner-managed mid-sized supplier and system partner for electrical components headquartered in Uttenweiler, Upper Swabia. Founded in 1998 by Otto Maurer, the company assembles custom cables, cable harnesses and complete assemblies in all cross-sections and sheathing types – from a single piece starting with the first assembly to large-volume production. In addition, the GmbH plans and manufactures fully configured control cabinets, among other things for the central control of emergency power generators, as well as tailored test equipment and test rigs including documentation and training. Complementary services include CNC-milled terminal boxes and control cabinets, welding work to EN 15085-2 for rail vehicles, as well as assembly and installation services. The entire portfolio is manufactured and tested exclusively at the Uttenweiler site by around 110 employees; a separate test report is created for every production order. Customers come from the transport sector (maritime and rail), the packaging industry, plant and mechanical engineering, biogas production, and aerospace engineering.
