MAVEG® GmbH, based in Sprockhövel, is a special-purpose machine manufacturer for the converting industry. Since 1984, the company has developed and sold custom roll slitting machines (slitting, cutting and roll cutting machines) as well as winding machines such as rewinders, unwinders and re-winding machines. These machines are used, among other things, to cut and wind adhesive tapes, protective films, PVC, decorative, rubber, foam and self-adhesive films, carbon films and carbon fabrics, roofing membranes, roofing felt, technical fabrics and nonwovens. The range of services includes consulting, machine building, commissioning, training, maintenance and spare parts; in addition, Static String machines for static discharge (ionization) are offered. More than 400 machines have been installed since the company was founded, some of which have been in operation for more than 30 years. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
